Why use custom prescription packaging?

Distinguishing medications by color and shape is a common practice used by many people. This may work if a person only takes one or two pills, but can quickly become very complicated when taking multiple prescriptions at different times of the day—especially when the color and shape of pills change, or new prescriptions are added.

We can package your medications into convenient weekly compliance blister packs that will help you take the right medications at the right time. This is an inexpensive and dependable way to make certain you and your loved ones are staying compliant with prescribed medications and supplements and are maximizing the benefit of your current drug regimen in a safe manner. Patients of ours who have utilized this service may have physical disabilities such as low vision or Parkinson's Disease, or find their medication regimen overwhelming or confusing to set up themselves.

How does it work?

Your pills are sorted into pods in customized Dispill® blister packaging to take up to four times daily (e.g., morning, lunch, dinner, bedtime). The color-coded pods will be labeled with the time of day they should be taken as well as the date, patient name, and list of medications included in that pod.

Pricing

The pricing of our customized multi-dose pill packaging is based on the number of medications being included in a patient’s regimen and is oftentimes cheaper than having a nurse or other healthcare worker visit the patient’s home to provide this service.

1 - 6 medications | $30 per month

7 - 11 medications | $45 per month

12+ medications | $60 per month

Currently, we have paused the addition of new multi-dose pill packaging patients since doing the same with new prescription patients on November 1, 2022 in order to respect our bandwidth for an increasing workload.
